Why I love photographing seniors

One of the biggest reasons that I love photographing seniors is showing them their unique, beautiful selfs. Throughout the process of shooting, we goof around, visit and I get to know them. Their dreams. What their favorite foods are. That sense of humor. As this is happening, I can just see their walls come down. They finally relax and give me a glimpse of who they truly are. There is something just so magical about witnessing this over and over again. I’m getting to spend a couple hours with some of the most amazing young people. I get to encourage them to be themselves and follow their dreams. I hope that when they leave their session with me that they are feeling confident and beautiful. Nothing beats that feeling for me so I don’t think I will ever stop photographing seniors.

Her smile and eyes in the beginning are stunning, but you will see throughout our time together when she truly lets her personality shine. As your photographer, there is nothing I want more than for you to be able to feel like you can be yourself.
