Tips for Senior Guys

Seniors

I do not have unrealistic expectations when it comes to most attitudes towards pictures, so I have a few tips for my senior guys to make the best of the experience.

Tip #1: Just be yourself. Sounds silly, right? However this is all about you. If you are a goofball, great! I’m happy to joke around with you. More of a serious guy? I love myself a good smolder. Relax and just be yourself. (Side note: I do require one smile per outfit for your parents. Please don’t make it too hard on me.)

Tip #2: Think about a haircut. Your parents can help figure out if you need one, but for sure trim up those hairs on your neck. Even if you have longer hair, messy is not a good look. Make sure your parents schedule it a week or two before so you don’t have that “fresh cut” look either.

Tip #3: Even though this experience is about you, this is a super important and meaningful time for your parents. Please be nice to them. Try to go along with a little of what they want, smile just a couple of times and overall just be a good sport.

I promise you that I will do everything I can to make the session fun, photos go super fast and maybe the entire experience not as lame as you think it will be. I also will send over a senior style and prep guide with more tips for senior guys, outfit advice and so much more!
