The Moments In Between

What you don’t see are the moments in between. I think the best thing that happens during a senior session doesn’t have anything to do with the actual pictures. Don’t get me wrong, the priority is amazing photos. But to me, it’s the experience that each person on the other side of my camera has between the shots. It’s the excitement of someone getting to know you for the first time. The confidence I see blooming as we continue to smile and laugh and explore. When you laugh at the silly little jokes between poses that keep that smile on your face. That will always be the best part of a senior experience.

Also, some of the best photos happen when you are least expecting me to take a picture. When we are goofing around or talking about your life, I am watching to see your expression. I want the world to see in your photos who I am witnessing in front of the camera.

In the end, the photos are beautiful and such an amazing reminder of this time in your life, but for me, the best part will always be the moments in between.
