I know, I know… sunrise is so early. However just check out Ella’s sunrise senior session. That gorgeous light on her face with all of the gorgeous flowers at Greenwood Nursery is absolute perfection. Sunsets are equally as amazing, but those session times go quick. If you want to take advantage of that glowy, summer light I would highly recommend booking a sunrise senior session. Another pro to this is it’s usually much cooler so we don’t have to worry about you sweating through your outfits or your make up melting away in the summer heat.

Ella had an amazing idea to start her session at Greenwood Nursery just south of Marshall MN. Since it was early we have the outdoor area to ourselves and it did not disappoint! She is such a light in herself and it absolutely shows in her senior pictures.

Two of the best spots at the nursery were this beautiful floral set up at the entrance and the gazebo. Sometimes I am on the fence about buildings like that as they can sometimes look dated. However, I am obsessed with how this turned out for Ella! Those are my favorite shots of the morning.

After the nursery, we headed to the SMSU nature area and downtown Marshall to add just a tiny bit of variety in her gallery as well. Her simple outfits would have worked anywhere, but I’m so happy that we ventured to a few other spots as well.
