Days like this one make my heart so happy. Nic and Kallie were seriously the cutest couple with constant smiles, kisses and love pouring towards each other. Couples like these are why I love my job so much.

Their day started off beautifully with an amazing first look by the walking bridge in Dawson, MN. We took advantage of the perfect weather and beautiful lilacs while they snuggled up and enjoyed being in each other’s company. One super special thing we got to do was take pictures with the firetruck as Nic is a volunteer firefighter! After all their pictures were done outside on a steamy, 90 degree May 22nd, everyone ventured to the church and watched these two share their vows with one another.

The reception was filled with adorable speeches, an epic sunset and so much laughter amongst friends. However, my favorite part of the day was when Kallie’s Grandpa got out on the dance floor with her, not only for a super sweet slow dance, but also right when the music turned fast. He was cutting a rug like I’ve never seen a Grandpa do. Moments like that are what makes weddings extra special. Congratulations Nic & Kallie! Love you both and I’m so happy I was able to capture these memories with you!
