Canby MN Senior \\ Johanna

Absolutely loved working with Johanna, a Canby MN Senior, on her senior photo session! She was so spunky and sassy! I absolutely adore her personality!

She wanted to do her session at McGrory Gardens in Brookings SD. (If you haven’t been, go! It’s breathtaking there!) We wandered through the park getting all of these beautiful colors and light that only added to how beautiful this girl already is. After the gardens, we ventured around downtown and ended our session with the most epic sunlight filtering through the trees on the water at Dakota Nature Park. That is one of my favorite, natural places to shoot in the area.

One thing that I love about my job is showing seniors, especially girls, how freaking stunning they really are through the eyes of others. I think the world offers us all the ways to change ourselves or to look a certain way. I want to give my seniors confidence to look at photos of themselves and feel beautiful. Not to want to change a single thing about them because they are amazing exactly how they are!
