Adventure // Ella

Seniors

You’ve got to love a good adventure. You can’t be afraid to get your feet wet, walk through some dense trees and maybe get just the tiniest bit dirty. Some of the best shots happen when you worked a little extra hard to get to a beautiful place.

When I met Ella and her mom they had a specific place in mind that I had no idea what to expect. We walked and walked until we finally came to this gorgeous part of the river in Redwood Falls. Had we not taken the path(aka no path) we would have never gotten to this incredible spot. I love that we were all up for an adventure and it was totally worth it!

After our initial meeting and hike, we stayed a little closer to civilization for while. Loved Ella’s style and how she just let her natural beauty shine.

Then we absolutely had to show off her love of softball out on the field.

I cannot believe they trusted me as I pulled off on the side of a very busy road to capture Ella in this gorgeous tall grass and beautiful light. Following that, we hiked up this hillside next to a gas station to finish out her session at sunset. All of that trust and adventuring was absolutely worth it!

Ella decided she wanted a separate session to show off her gymnastics skills. I adored getting to photograph all of her ideas and see her talent! One of the best parts of my job is spending time with people like her!
